Munzey   FEATURED RADIO PANELIST
   MUNZEY
My company SKATEBOARD MARKETING cover national radio promotion for commercial metal and active rock radio and college metal stations. We're called Indies, That is not to be confuzed with an Indie Label. We're not a record company, We are the guys the record company hires to get their records played on the radio. Yeah making it happen all day every day. We are also a management company, we handle AJ Pero from Twisted Sister. He is the companies first management signing. Artist development starts from the street level and up. Building an artists career is not always so easy. We handle a lot of records for all the majors, Universal, Atlantic, Sony/BMG and so on. Also for most of the Indie Labels as well. Century Media, Nuclear Blast USA, SPV, Locomotive, AFM ect. Getting up in the morning and banging the phones and making something from nothing. There just isn't anything better. It takes a lot of time and compassion. For my own taste in music, I like thrash, hard core and anything fast and heavy. I seem to have a special place for prog too. I don't know why but I can totally chill with Evergrey or Dream Theater and then throw in Testament. If you want to see what we do and who we are then just go to our site and look under Past Roster and Who We are:

   FEATURED TALENT AGENT PANELIST
  JEFF MILLER
  FANTASMA TOURS INTERNATIONAL
Jeff Miller has been both a buyer and seller of talent. Currently, Jeff is the VP booking agent for Fantasma Productions in West Palm Beach, Fla.
In 1987 Jeff became an agent at TCI in New York. "I was to bring metal bands into the agency but fell into dance music when I became the agent for Alisha, a teen act that had three #1 dance hits," he reminisces. "I then picked up Expose through a connection at Arista Records that also offered me Taylor Dane, but I was too busy with Expose and Alisha." In 1989 Jeff was offered a job as an A&R director at new label, Grudge Records, distributed by BMG. He signed six acts, including Helix, American Angel and Larry Mitchell during the three years the label existed.

A year later, Jeff joined a new booking agency, Ashley Talent, founded by Jay Frey, a longtime friend and manager of Blackfoot, and Mark Hyman. He moved back to Michigan and signed Joey Belladonna, Nuclear Assault. Looking for his next opportunity, Jeff went to work for Lou Pearlman, who was starting a new company in New York called Shape CD, a company "that manufactured CDs and DVDs that were shaped and still played,"I had huge corporate accounts with Disney, General Electric and Universal Home Video. Linda Arcello-Earl   FEATURED MANAGEMENT PANELIST
   LINDA ARCELLO-EARL
In the early 70’s Linda returned to the U.S. from Europe and put herself through school getting her first degree in Psychology. In 1975 she worked with a woman who turned her on to a ‘job’ with the rock band FOGHAT. That was the end of formal education for awhile. Linda was office manager for the band from 1976 – 1979, their most successful years. ‘Fool for the City’ was just released and they were working on ‘Night Shift’. Then came ‘LIVE’ in 1977 and after that ‘Stone Blue’. A lot of work, fun, and a great education. When Foghat’s lead guitarist, Rod Price, left the band in 1980, Linda managed his new band Nightwatch, and a couple of other bands, including the legendary Eddie "Bluesman" Kirkland. A few years of hard work later, she left the music business and in 1983 started a very successful company In 1997, she got involved with her old friend, Roger Earl (Foghat drummer) who had been consistently touring as Foghat since 1971. The original band had reformed in 1993 and although playing, they were not doing well. Lonesome Dave Peverett and his wife Linda were both diagnosed with cancer in 1998 and in February, 2000, Lonesome Dave passed away, followed by his wife only 9 months later. At this point Linda’s computer business was booming but the band was in a mess.

Signed by Albert Grossman to Bearsville Records in 1971, the band recorded their first self-titled LP "Foghat" and began touring relentlessly for the next 14 years. Their hard work has thus far been rewarded with seven Gold records, one Platinum record "Fool For The City" (1975), and one Double-Platinum record "Foghat Live" (1977). The "Fool For The City" album contained Foghat's trademark Top 40 hit song "Slow Ride" and cemented their place as one of the world's top rock acts. They continued to hit the charts in the 1970's with singles such as "Fool For The City", "Drivin' Wheel", "I Just Wanna Make Love To You", "I'll Be Standing By", "Stone Blue", "Third Time Lucky" and "Somebody's Been Sleeping In My Bed"… many of which are still classic rock radio staples.

When Roger decided to carry on with Foghat after the passing of Lonesome Dave, Linda somewhat reluctantly accepted the challenge of helping to rebuild a band that she always respected both personally and musically.

They had lost their lead singer and lead guitarist. The only consistent original member in the band was Roger Earl, and the bass player at the time had been in the band for a few years in the beginning and then taken a hiatus of 20 years from the band, returning in 1993. Bryan Bassett had replaced Rod Price and Charlie Huhn was enlisted to fill Lonesome Dave’s big shoes. A huge challenge.

So now, eight years later, after a tremendous amount of effort on the part of the band, crew and management, the band is doing better than ever! The are touring relentlessly as they did in the 70’s doing Festivals, Fairs, Theatres and Casinos. The fans are loving it, and there is a whole new generation of young people turned on to the music of Foghat through video games and TV commercials and films. Since 2003, the band has released a studio CD, Live DVD and in 2007 a double live CD called FOGHAT ‘LIVE II". They are getting more press and publicity today than they have in the past 25 years. The following review in 2007 of Foghat "LIVE II" says it all: "An incredible recovery of a band who lost it´s two main members. 29 years after the Classic Foghat Live, Live II with the same cover artwork, captures the same magic live sound. The album is simply just as good ! ...and the advantage this time is a double live CD !!!"…..SwedenRock.Com

Roger Earl   FEATURED ROCK PANELIST
   ROGER EARL
In the late 1960's Roger Earl & Lonesome Dave Peverett first toured America as members of the seminal British band "Savoy Brown". Together with guitarist Kim Simmonds, "Savoy Brown" was on the cutting edge of the emerging British blues-rock scene, and they influenced countless musicians on both sides of the "pond". In 1971, wanting to give a more Rock 'n Roll flavor to the blues-boogie music they were playing with "Savoy", Dave & Roger enlisted lead/slide guitarist Rod Price & bassist Tony Stevens, formed a new band, "Foghat", and the rest is part of Rock and Roll history.

The band began to tour once again doing what they love to do and do best…taking their music to the fans. The camaraderie and fun was apparent in their live performances and after two solid years of touring the band entered the studio to write and record a new CD. The result was their latest studio recording "Family Joules". In 2004 they released a live DVD called "The Official Bootleg DVD, Volume 1" and at the end of that year, veteran Foghat bassist extraordinaire Craig Macgregor rejoined the lineup launching Foghat's hard rocking tradition into the future. They are touring non-stop again, the energy is incredible, and in September 2006 they pre-released a new double Live CD entitled "FOGHAT LIVE II" to bring the energy and excitement of the current lineup (ROGER EARL, CRAIG MACGREGOR, BRYAN BASSETT & CHARLIE HUHN) to the fans. This opens a new chapter for "Foghat", and promises new and exciting things from one of rock's most established acts. 'Slow Ride' is the first song on Guitar Hero III and ALL the kids/grownups are playing it! Foghat still rocks!
